Q: I was thinking about going true dual on my 92 camera... I saw some flexible exhaust on jcwhitney.com, and I was thinking about getting that, instead of paying someone to do all the pipe work... its 30 bucks for like 25 feet which is definitely enough, so I figure that plus 2 galas packs for 20 ea
Exhaust leaks can range from very serious problems to an issue that seems to make your car or truck sound really cool and go faster. In this article we will talk about your vehicle’s exhaust system, symptoms of a leak and what you can do about. What does the exhaust system do?Your vehicle’s exhaust
What is a flex pipe?A flex pipe is flexible piece of pipe that allows the exhaust system some flexibility. Flex pipes are an essential part of any front wheel drive vehicle and on most all wheel drive vehicles. On front wheel cars, since the motor is mounted transversely, when you accelerate the motor rocks, the flex pipe protects your exhaust system from breakage. Without that extra flex pipe, the rocking motion would crack the exhaust system causing a loud leak.
THE FEELING OF USING FLEXIBLE EXHAUST PIPE-HOW TO CHOOSE? How to judge if the flex pipe is good? First is material. Second is the flexibility because the softer the better. It also protects engine form vibration. Third is outer wire, it is very easy to worn out due to it is the protection of the bellow. Fourth, the bellow should be two layers and should be thinner. In our factory, we use two layer of bellows and the thickness is 0.2mm for each layer. We also use softer and brighter wire to protect the bellow. Our flexible pipe is softer and you can choose different material as you need. Welcome to contact us if you need.
A vehicle’s exhaust system is designed to direct harmful gases away from the driver and passengers, reduce the emissions the vehicle releases into the environment, control the delivery of hot exhaust, provide information to the vehicle’s computer to improve vehicle performance, and significantly red

Top Fuel and Funny CarAt the top levels of drag racing, in particular Top Fuel and Funny-Car, the exhaust systems might seem very simple. The header systems, known as "zoomies," consist of a single pipe on each cylinder, dumping straight into the atmosphere, with each tube bent so that it faces upwa

Figure 6Example of a 4-2-1 Header SystemThe tuning of this type of system is not terribly intuitive. Several well-placed experts in Cup told me that their teams have consumed large amounts of modeling time using very sophisticated (and expensive) simulation software to arrive "in the ball park", and
Exhaust MaterialsUsually, header systems are fabricated from welded-up collections of cuts from pre-formed "U" bends and straight segments of tubing in the chosen material. There are several reasons for that, but the most persuasive is the fact that, in order to achieve the design configuration, the
